Description

Lead data center operations, facility strategy, and infrastructure management for multiple sites in Staten Island, NY.

You will own the annual budget, revenue stream strategies, and product roadmaps for the data center business. Oversee the design, implementation, and preventive maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment, utilities, and physical plant. Manage operating engineers across three facilities and supervise departmental hiring and performance evaluations. Direct MEP engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors on critical system designs and local code-compliant construction. Partner with sales and global account managers to design client architectures, respond to RFPs, and manage colocation projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct MEP engineers and contractors on system designs and code-compliant construction.
• Partner with sales teams to design client architectures and manage colocation projects.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data center facility management or operations.
• Deep technical understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructures.
• Proven ability to develop multi-year product roadmaps and business strategies.
• Experience managing MEP engineers and overseeing complex construction projects.
• Proficiency in creating project work plans, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and facility floor plans.
• Knowledge of TIA standard risk mitigation procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Experience with budget administration and vendor management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining facility security by managing authorized access for clients, vendors, and visitors.
