Description

You will manage the deployment and design of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure for data center and edge network sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute space, power, cabling, and infrastructure requirements to support regional edge network needs.
• Design and plan critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure for new data center sites.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design floor plans and allocate space for network functions.
• Implement engineering design packages for edge and POP sites according to ENS standards.
• Oversee the site acceptance process for new POP sites and contribute to project retrospective reviews.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure deployment or electrical engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Expertise in power infrastructure engineering within Data Centers, Telecom Central Offices, Collocations, or Remote Hut environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoDesk tools.
• Technical knowledge of regional electrical and cooling configurations, including IEC, NEMA, AC/DC power, and redundancy scenarios.
• Understanding of infrastructure architecture principles, including space lineup, airflow, and cooling.
• Experience overseeing Global POP/CLS infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of optical network design and installation in service provider or enterprise networks.
• Experience working in POPs, carrier hotels, and data center environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BIM 360 or Blue Beam.
