Description

You will design, implement, and manage complex network solutions within large-scale physical data center environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage multivendor network stacks, including routing, access layer switching, and data center switching.
• Architect solutions for high-throughput environments, private clouds, and HPC infrastructures.
• Implement and maintain network security measures using firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
• Lead large-scale initiatives including project planning, capacity planning, quoting, and implementation.
• Monitor network performance to proactively identify issues and provide rapid incident response via an on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall networking experience with 5-7+ years specifically in physical data center architecture (100+ racks).
• Hands-on experience deploying Palo Alto and Fortinet high-throughput firewalls.
• Deep expertise in switching and routing using Cisco, Arista, Aruba, and Mellanox/InfiniBand.
• Strong routing protocol knowledge including eBGP, iBGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with WAN and dedicated private cloud connectivity.
• Proficiency with Meraki cloud-managed networking solutions.
• Familiarity with network automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as Network+, CCNP, or VCTA-NV.
• Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and microsegmentation.
