Description

You will architect and engineer data center and enterprise network solutions. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop design and system configurations based on technical requirements.
• Propose solutions, including hardware and engineering services, after gathering customer requirements.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs), Level of Effort, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for projects.
• Identify, research, evaluate, and implement emerging network technologies.
• Provide in-depth troubleshooting and document all network issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with enterprise-level network design and deployment using Cisco technologies.
• Proficiency in core routing and switching, LAN/WAN/MAN services design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level traffic analysis.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MP-BGP, and IS-IS.
• Experience designing data center infrastructures using ACI and SDN.
• Proficiency with Cisco Nexus 9k, 7k, 5k, and 2k configuration and design.
• Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst 9k, 4k, 3k, and 2k series switch platforms.
• Understanding of IP concepts including VRF, VXLAN, VLAN, QoS, tuning, and capacity management.
• Ability to analyze and design network systems for secure and efficient operation.
