Description

Support data center stability and uptime through hands-on network operations and hardware troubleshooting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot physical network devices, links, and hardware to ensure operational stability.
• Automate repeatable tasks using Python or Ansible-based tools.
• Execute scheduled changes, software/firmware installations, and technical documentation.
• Manage network alerts, trouble tickets, and carrier escalations.
• Participate in a 12x7 call-out rotation for network fault analysis and repair.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience troubleshooting physical and logical issues.
• Working knowledge of Layer 1, 2, 3, and 4 network operations.
• Proficiency with routing, switching, IP services, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Experience with internal routing protocols and backbone/data center networks.
• Ability to use Unix/Linux shells and scripting languages, specifically Python or Bash.
• Experience with network automation and break/fix operations.
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and technical project management.

Preferred Skills

• Vendor certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCIP.
• Degree in network engineering or a related technical discipline.
