Description

You will manage the physical infrastructure and operational health of our data centers and global points of presence.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, stack, and cable servers, switches, and network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair server, storage, compute, and networking hardware.
• Design and implement network layouts and cabling solutions for fiber and copper.
• Manage warehouse inventory, asset tracking, and hardware decommissioning using internal applications.
• Resolve data center operations tickets via Jira and maintain standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with server, storage, compute, and network hardware.
• 8+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing networking infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and shipping equipment.
• 4+ years of experience with structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• 4+ years of experience with data center power and cooling concepts.
• Proficiency with Linux Shell and software management.
• Experience using Jira for ticket management.
• Experience with Oracle and inventory management systems.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Linux skills including filesystem management, permissions, and process management.
• Bash or other scripting experience.
• Forklift certification.
