Description

You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data center projects and infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level and low-level project plans, including budget management.
• Coordinate project activities between internal IT departments and external resources, including Engineering Design Teams and General Contractors.
• Manage site construction directly or through general contractors, including full vendor management.
• Oversee the RFP process for new vendors and negotiate lease terms with sourcing and legal teams.
• Maintain project documentation and information via SharePoint.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Practical knowledge of Data Center Technology and Service Management.
• Working background in Structured Cabling Systems.
• Understanding of Data Center best practices and logistics.
• Experience managing external vendors and contractors.
• Ability to work on-site in Ashburn, VA, with regular local travel.
• Capability for occasional out-of-area travel.
