Description

You will manage data center white space fit-out projects from inception to final handover in a billable professional services capacity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center fit-out projects by coordinating with design subject matter experts for on-site support.
• Develop project budgets, plans, and status documents covering scope, billing, and schedules.
• Oversee subcontractors and counsel clients on-site to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
• Create project estimates and sales proposals with assistance from corporate solution leads.
• Develop RFI and RFP documents and manage the contractor bid leveling and analysis process.

Required Skills

• 3 to 7 years of experience in data center facilities design and build project management.
• Hands-on experience with data center design and deployment best practices.
• Technical understanding of power distribution and structured cabling design.
• Experience managing mid-size data center build-outs or fit-outs in colocation facilities.
• Ability to manage client expectations and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Capacity for 50%-70% travel, primarily within the Western USA.
• Strong understanding of physical infrastructure, space planning, and HVAC.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in reading design drawings including plans, sections, and elevations.
• Experience with project estimation, sales proposals, and contractor bid leveling.
• RCDD, BICSI DCDC, or CDCDP certifications.
