Description

You will own the end-to-end delivery of mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure CAPEX initiatives for data center projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead project scope, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reporting for stakeholders.
• Execute procurement activities including RFP development, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, MEP consultants, and third-party providers to ensure EDC standards alignment.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, UPS, generators, PDUs, controls, and fire/life safety systems.
• Manage CAPEX budgets, vendor payments, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-10+ years of experience managing MEP or mission-critical construction projects within data centers.
• Strong knowledge of critical facility systems: HVAC, UPS, generators, PDUs, and controls.
• Experience with commissioning processes and lifecycle management of mechanical/electrical components.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale project budgets.
• Strong communication skills for managing stakeholder expectations and producing accurate documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial firms or live financial data center environments.
• Familiarity with sustainability and certification goals (LEED, WELL, WiredScore, SmartScore).
