Description

You will manage data center infrastructure projects and daily operations for the Data Center Services group.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of small to mid-size infrastructure projects, from initial planning to final resolution.
  • Execute hardware installations, repairs, firmware upgrades, and optimizations for Intel, Linux, Network, and Mainframe systems.
  • Design and implement structured cable plant systems, including server cabinet layouts and space planning.
  • Perform hands-on facilities provisioning, including rack installation, power setup, and copper/fiber/console cabling.
  • Troubleshoot server, network, and storage systems to maintain operational stability.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience working in large-scale data center environments.
  • Deep knowledge of x86 architecture-based systems with a strong Intel background.
  • Hands-on experience with HP and Cisco standalone servers, enclosures, and blades.
  • Expertise in structured cable design using both fiber optics and copper.
  • Proficiency with networking, SANs, and server hardware management.
  • Ability to terminate, label, and install Ethernet, fiber, and KVM cabling.
  • Experience managing competing priorities from multiple internal customers.

Preferred Skills

  • Degree in any field.
