Description

You will manage the provisioning, monitoring, and inventory of critical data center power and environmental infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provision, monitor, and collect inventory for PDUs, UPS systems, and environmental sensors.
• Maintain accurate asset tracking and monitoring records for all power hardware.
• Analyze and optimize power and cooling performance in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Fine-tune alert rules for sensor and power monitoring systems.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and software upgrades to ensure compliance with standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center engineering, ideally in large-scale environments.
• Deep understanding of data center power, cooling, fire suppression, and cabling infrastructure.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure and connectivity, including servers, switches, routers, and storage.
• Practical experience with cabling and optics.
• Proficiency in customizing monitoring tools using scripting for bulk updates.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical engineering experience.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in network or data center design such as CCNA, CDCP, CDCS, or CDCE.
