Description

You will manage the end-to-end technical design and execution of data center facilities, expansions, and retrofits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for new facilities and expansions by collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Develop and manage design standards, RFP/RFQ documentation, and technical specifications.
• Manage project lifecycles from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Mitigate risks related to scalability, redundancy, and operational efficiency during the design phase.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and contractors to select solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery.
• Review design documents, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center design, construction, or related technical roles.
• Proven experience in hyper-scale data center environments.
• Technical expertise in power distribution, cooling systems, and network architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
• Direct experience with RFP/RFQ processes and infrastructure management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong background in scalable design and project management.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
