Description

Manage physical installation and maintenance tasks within a US data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Mount and install racks, patch panels, and grounding for equipment and cables.
• Install and troubleshoot fiber optic connections, including simplex and duplex jumper cords.
• Manage the ticket lifecycle from assignment through closure.
• Maintain accurate inventory of network devices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a US data center environment focusing on server hardware, storage, and network devices.
• Proficiency in terminating connectors (LC, SC, ST, FC, FDDI, SMA, and MPO/MTP) for multi-mode and single-mode fiber.
• Strong technical background in computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work at heights, off ladders, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to distinguish different colors and read small print.
• Any Graduate education.
