Description

You provide on-site physical deployment support and hardware maintenance within the data center.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical deployments including racking, stacking, and cabling for servers, PDUs, and switches.
• Replace server components such as CPUs, RAM, drives, and boards.
• Manage hardware lifecycles by submitting RMAs and handling shipping/receiving for vendors and remote locations.
• Resolve assigned tickets and work requests through basic hardware diagnosis and repairs to meet internal SLAs.
• Assist engineers with debugging network, hardware, and Linux OS-related issues and maintaining hardware inventory.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant technical environments.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, servers, and networking.
• Proficiency in Linux OS.
• Troubleshooting skills for hardware and network issues.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain on your feet for the duration of a shift.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Availability to be on-call outside of business hours for escalations.
• Any Graduate degree.
