Description

You will manage physical infrastructure and hardware maintenance across data center sites, with extensive travel to Germany.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware troubleshooting and upgrades for servers and network switches, including RAM and NVMe replacement.
• Install, terminate, and route structured cabling (Cat6, fiber, power, grounding) following data center best practices.
• Execute site surveys for new hardware installations and manage rack space dependencies.
• Manage change requests, represent the team in CAB meetings, and coordinate stakeholder notifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation for cable connections, rack layouts, and port-to-port connectivity.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Dell, HPE, and Cisco server infrastructure.
• Proficiency in hardware installation and upgrades (DIMM, NVMe, SFP modules).
• Strong understanding of data center power systems and circuit breaker management.
• Experience with remote server management tools (iDRAC) and BIOS configuration.
• Knowledge of infrastructure documentation and data center standards.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in high-availability (HA) environments.
• Familiarity with change management and incident response processes.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., EFKffT certification).
