Description

You will manage the physical infrastructure, hardware, and systems of the data center to ensure optimal uptime and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network equipment.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve them to minimize downtime.
• Manage physical infrastructure including power, cooling, and cabling.
• Implement security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of server hardware, networking protocols, and operating systems.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Physical dexterity to lift and move equipment in a data center environment.
• Clear and concise communication skills for collaborating with IT staff and vendors.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+ or Cisco certifications.
