Description

You will manage hardware lifecycles and network troubleshooting within a data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware swaps including line cards, TORs, and optics.
• Conduct root cause analysis for hardware and connectivity issues.
• Manage assets and maintain accurate ticket documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional data center teams.
• Mentor junior technicians on technical workflows and standards.

Required Skills

• 4+ years in IT and 2+ years of direct data center experience.
• Proficiency with Linux and Command Line Interface (CLI).
• Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Solid understanding of fiber optics and the OSI model.
• Networking knowledge equivalent to A+ and Network+ certifications.
• Familiarity with BGP, VRRP, LACP, and spanning tree protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
