Description

You will perform hands-on technical support within the data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, replace, and decommission servers, switches, routers, and related equipment in data center racks.
• Manage and trace network and power cabling, ensuring proper organization and labeling.
• Troubleshoot physical connectivity, hardware, and network issues, including signal testing and power cycling.
• Support telephony hardware and applications (analog, ISDN, SIP), including installation and testing.
• Document all activities, maintain service logs, and assist with physical asset inventory audits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network/telecom support, field service, or data center operations.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (OSI Layers 2 & 3) and protocols (TCP/IP).
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and use standard hand tools.
• Familiarity with remote access tools and ticketing systems.
• Experience with OEM network devices.
• Knowledge of data center operations and change management policies.
• Understanding of basic telecom systems.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA certification.
• Experience with fiber optic cabling.
