Description

You manage physical data center infrastructure and Linux server environments, handling everything from cabling to server configuration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform network cabling tasks, including installation, termination, and testing.
• Configure and set up racks according to industry standards.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers to ensure performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to server installations.
• Maintain documentation for network configurations, equipment, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in network cabling, rack setup, and server installation.
• Proficiency in Linux operating system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working with data center infrastructure and industry best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or KVM.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of OpenStack and GPU technologies.
• Linux certifications such as LPIC or CompTIA Linux+.
