Description

You will handle hardware triage, repair execution, and server deployment in a data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Triage hardware issues based on direction from Dell Support.
• Execute Plans of Action (POA) provided by Dell Domain Engineers or L3 support.
• Perform component replacements, including reseating, swapping, or replacing parts.
• Test and validate servers by running diagnostics and capturing/uploading logs.
• Document all POA results, logs, service reports, part numbers, and PPIDs via case email.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience with server hardware (CPU, memory, PSU, GPU replacements, server builds).
• Experience executing server swaps and full server deployments.
• Proficiency with Linux.
• Ability to follow provided Plans of Action (POA) from support teams.
• Experience maintaining detailed, real-time technical documentation.
• Capability to handle the physical demands of data center work.
• Familiarity with PC building.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dell hardware ecosystems.
• Inventory management for locker stock and spare parts.
