Description

You will manage physical infrastructure within a data center environment, ensuring hardware and network connectivity remain operational.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, replace, and decommission servers, switches, routers, and other equipment in data center racks.
• Manage network and power cabling, ensuring organization, labeling, and connectivity testing.
• Troubleshoot physical connectivity, hardware, and network problems, including signal testing and power cycling.
• Support telephony hardware and applications, installing and relocating telecom assets.
• Document all activities, maintain service logs, and adhere to change management policies.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years in network/telecom support, field service, or data center operations.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (OSI Layers 2 & 3) and TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience with racking, stacking, installing, and configuring network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and use hand tools.
• Familiarity with remote access tools and ticketing systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
• CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of total working experience in data center or field service roles.
• Experience with telecom asset relocation and support.
