Description

You will manage physical hardware deployments and infrastructure maintenance within the data center.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute server IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks and hardware upgrades including CPUs, disks, and memory.
• Install, cable, and troubleshoot server and switch hardware using fiber, copper, and twinax connectivity.
• Energize rack Power Distribution Units and manage related power infrastructure.
• Perform remote hands and eyes support, including visual inspections and equipment power cycles.
• Manage inventory, document work via JIRA, and handle vendor access, escorts, and shipping/receiving.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center hardware support and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with server and switch hardware installations.
• Proficiency in cabling standards including fiber, copper, and twinax.
• Experience performing hardware component upgrades (CPU, memory, disks).
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and cabling issues.
• Competency using JIRA for work logging and communication.
• Experience managing rack-level power infrastructure and PDUs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining organized data center environments and storage facilities.
