Description

You will manage physical infrastructure, equipment lifecycle, and site access within a data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute IT equipment installation, removal, and cabling infrastructure builds including racking, stacking, and cabling.
• Troubleshoot IT equipment failures, reset remote management credentials, and reseat cables following 4Eyes protocols.
• Manage site access by reviewing, approving, and escorting vendors and customers according to established processes.
• Perform physical inspections and inventory validation of IT equipment, storage, and assets every 12 months.
• Maintain site documentation, perform root cause analysis for incidents, and provide ad hoc reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center environments and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with racking, stacking, cabling, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with servers, network switches, storage, and cabinets.
• Knowledge of network and telecommunications protocols and platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Visio.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended durations.
• Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
