Description

This role involves hands-on maintenance and support within a data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware break/fix tasks in the data center.
• Manage and maintain fiber optic cabling infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network issues using CLI and networking protocols.
• Apply knowledge of the OSI model to diagnose system problems.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of Data Center experience.
• 4+ years of IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optics.
• Proficiency with CLI operations.
• Understanding of IP networking concepts.
• Familiarity with the OSI model.
• Experience with Cabling.
• Experience with Data Center environments.

Preferred Skills

• Basic scripting in Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP, STP, VRRP, and LACP.
