Description

You maintain the resiliency, redundancy, and high availability of critical data center infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, migrate, and decommission IT hardware, cabling, and power distribution components.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace hardware; escort vendors during remediation activities.
• Terminate copper and fiber cabling, maintaining accurate labeling and support infrastructure.
• Document all systems, changes, and modifications within DCIM tools.
• Respond to incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate visitor access.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with fiber and copper termination.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including PDUs and UPS.
• Understanding of air handling hardware, generators, and fire suppression systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC, chillers, and lighting systems.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for travel between worksites.
• Ability to follow written procedures and pass security background checks and random drug testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining cable trays, PDUs, and shelving infrastructure.
