Description

You will manage on-premise infrastructure, support cloud migration, and maintain system standards. You own the release pipeline and incident response for critical data centre environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure architecture documentation and enforce system standards.
• Design and implement automation scripts to satisfy infrastructure requirements.
• Coordinate project reviews, compliance audits, and technical change approvals.
• Perform service health checks and server reboots following incident management policies.
• Participate in peer reviews and communicate technical details to business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data centre operations.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Proficiency with Oracle and SUN infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Ruby.
• Server configuration management using Chef.
• Virtual server deployment and high availability configuration in VMware 6.0.
• Management of Veritas VCS and UNIX ZFS file systems.
• Familiarity with networking constructs including firewalls, DNS, NFS, and LDAP.

Preferred Skills

• Development experience with Java, JBOSS, and Apache/Tomcat.
• Experience with Solaris 10-11 Zones.
