Description

You will lead the full data conversion lifecycle for a Workday implementation, managing the transition from PeopleSoft to Workday.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end data conversion lifecycle, from initial requirements through post-go-live validation.
• Oversee ETL processes for data extracted from PeopleSoft HCM, Finance, and Payroll modules into Workday.
• Define data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes alongside functional and technical leads.
• Manage data migration workstreams, including assigned staff and consulting resources.
• Coordinate data validation and parallel testing with business stakeholders to ensure quality and security compliance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data migration and conversion.
• 3+ years leading Workday data conversion projects.
• Direct experience with PeopleSoft and Workday (HCM, Finance, Payroll) data conversions.
• Proficiency with Workday Studio, Talend, Informatica, SQL, or Alteryx.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and reconciliation.
• Experience managing data migration teams on enterprise-scale projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data and business processes in higher education or public research universities.
• Workday or PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience with cloud-based data migration and secure data handling.
