Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain relational and NoSQL database solutions using Azure cloud technologies.

Create and optimize data models, schemas, and enterprise data architectures for scalable business applications.

Analyze business requirements and recommend data design solutions for new and existing systems.

Develop and support enterprise data integrations, APIs, and data exchange processes across multiple platforms.

Build and maintain data pipelines, ingestion processes, and transformation frameworks.

Design data structures supporting analytics, reporting, dashboards, auditing, archiving, and search capabilities.

Collaborate with development, business, and technical teams in an Agile environment.

Support deployment, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and enhancement of production systems.

Ensure data governance, security, quality, and compliance standards are followed.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and enterprise process optimization efforts.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

5+ years of experience designing and managing relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.

5+ years of experience with:

Azure SQL Database

Azure SQL Managed Instance

Azure Cosmos DB

Azure Blob Storage

Business intelligence and reporting data layers

5+ years of experience with data modeling, schema design, and enterprise data architecture.

5+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Core or Node.js in Azure environments.

Experience with data pipelines, data ingestion, transformation, governance, and data quality initiatives.

Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.

Experience integrating with CRM platforms, content management systems, and downstream enterprise applications.

Experience creating data structures that support reporting, analytics, operational dashboards, and audit requirements.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GTFS, GTFS-Realtime (GTFS-RT), and transit-related data modeling.

Experience working with transportation, route, stop, and network data structures.

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

PeopleSoft certification.

8+ years of experience integrating and supporting third-party enterprise systems.

6+ years of experience supporting or managing cloud-based PeopleSoft environments
