Description

You will provide L3 support and development for complex platform incidents, ensuring uptime and SLA compliance for data science environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues related to workspace provisioning, model execution, job orchestration, and data connectivity.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring platform issues.
• Manage platform operations, including upgrades, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Support data science environments (Python, R, Git) and enable ML lifecycle activities.
• Implement automation and monitoring improvements to enhance platform reliability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall IT experience, including 4+ years supporting data science or analytics platforms.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python for platform support and automation.
• Experience with AWS cloud services, specifically Amazon SageMaker.
• Code repository management using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools, change management, and release management processes.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP), preferably in life sciences or pharmaceuticals.

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes administration or Domino Data Lab certification.
• Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure).
• Exposure to clinical analytics, research data platforms, or AI/ML model development.
