Description

You will manage the operational lifecycle of Dell Data Domain and ECS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Dell Data Domain and backup devices, including SLP configuration and backup policy implementation.
• Troubleshoot backup failures and execute recovery processes to ensure data availability.
• Coordinate with vendors and Dell support to resolve technical tickets.
• Execute disaster recovery drills and manage failover procedures.
• Maintain service levels by monitoring SLA, TAT, and ticket quality.

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Dell Data Domain and backup devices.
• Proficiency in SLP configuration and backup policy management.
• Experience with recovery processes and backup failure troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of replication, clustering, and OS platform troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform remote installations and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience coordinating with vendors for support ticket resolution.
• Experience conducting disaster recovery (DR) drills and failover operations.
• Background in managing Dell Data Domain or ECS operational responsibilities.

Preferred Skills

• Dell EMC Proven Professional – Data Protection & Management (DPM) certification.
• Backup & Recovery certifications such as Veritas or Commvault.
