Description

You own the end-to-end data pipelines for contract and supplier spend data.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable databases and develop ingestion workflows to process 50,000+ contracts.
• Configure and run OCR workflows (e.g., Azure Document Intelligence) to extract key contract fields.
• Implement a schema in Azure PostgreSQL to store contract metadata and OCR outputs.
• Collaborate with Software Developers to design a future-ready schema for AI consumption.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering building and managing data solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.
• Proficiency in Azure, SQL, and PostgreSQL for cloud and relational database management.
• Solid experience with Python scripting and automation to optimize data operations.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, preferably using Azure.
• Familiarity with OCR tools like Azure Document Intelligence or Tesseract.
• Comfortable with API authentication (OAuth, tokens) and enterprise security.
• Experience with Agile collaboration in sprints and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with procurement systems and contract lifecycle management.
• Exposure to cXML, ARBCI, SOAP/REST protocols.
