Description

You own end-to-end data pipelines for contract and supplier spend data, including scalable database design and OCR-driven ingestion workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes to process 50,000+ contracts.
• Configure Azure Document Intelligence workflows to extract key contract fields.
• Build and maintain schemas in Azure PostgreSQL for contract metadata and OCR outputs.
• Collaborate with software developers to design future-ready schemas for AI consumption.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in Azure, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Solid experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure.
• Familiarity with OCR tools like Azure Document Intelligence or Tesseract.
• Comfortable with API authentication (OAuth, tokens) and enterprise security.
• Experience with Agile collaboration in sprints.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with procurement systems and contract lifecycle management.
• Exposure to cXML, ARBCI, and SOAP/REST protocols.
