Build and maintain database models while automating data pipelines and optimizing infrastructure for scalability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize conceptual and logical database models.
• Develop processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
• Integrate systems and manage data using programming languages.
• Automate manual processes and redesign infrastructure for scalability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders on project goals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or Ruby.
• Expertise in big data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• K Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools.
• Ability to optimize data delivery and integration.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
