Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines to support analytic solutions and healthcare claims processing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality data pipelines to support analytic solutions.
• Process and analyze standard healthcare data, including claims, to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Design and implement modern data architecture patterns such as medallion or data lakehouse.
• Partner with business analysts to align technical solutions with business requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in data engineering or architecture.
• 2+ years working specifically with healthcare claims data.
• Expertise in SQL and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Experience with Hadoop, BigQuery, Hive, Impala, or Spark.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with machine learning, data science workflows, and statistical or data-mining techniques.
• Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses and big data solutions.
• Exposure to Linux environments and Big Data development.
