Description

You will lead the migration from IBM Sterling File Gateway to Go Anywhere, building the ETL pipelines and analytics required for the transition.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data from IBM Sterling File Gateway to Go Anywhere, ensuring integrity across files, spreadsheets, and on-prem databases.
• Write Python scripts to extract and transform data, addressing current gaps in ETL expertise.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support project analytics and the transition process.
• Validate data accuracy throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Implement robust ETL processes to support the new platform architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and data manipulation.
• Experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and visualization.
• Knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway.
• Experience with Go Anywhere.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and implementation.
• Ability to work with files, spreadsheets, and databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy file gateway systems.
• Strong background in data validation and integrity checks.
