Description

You will build and manage data systems to support analytics and business intelligence use cases.

Responsibilities

• Expand the data lake by integrating diverse data sources and managing analytics use cases.
• Design, build, and test data management systems, mapping source systems to target data stores.
• Set up ELT pipelines using tooling or custom connectors to make data available on the platform.
• Apply data governance principles and monitor data quality to ensure consistency.
• Utilize infrastructure as code and dbt for data transformations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Spark, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EMR, Glue, S3, Athena, and RDS.
• Experience managing ELT pipelines and using Apache Airflow.
• Practical knowledge of dbt for data transformation.
• Experience implementing infrastructure as code.
• Ability to translate complex technical matters for business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect Certification.
• Experience working in the media sector.
