Description

Build and optimize data infrastructure to support enterprise system transformations by designing scalable pipelines and unified data platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT processes ingesting data from Dynamics 365 and legacy systems into Azure Synapse.
• Implement data cleansing, validation rules, and quality checks to ensure accuracy for enterprise reporting.
• Contribute to the design and expansion of enterprise data models and schemas, including star schemas.
• Prepare curated datasets for Power BI dashboards by writing efficient SQL queries and developing pipeline components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data requirements with enterprise system implementations.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• 3–5 years of experience writing and optimizing SQL (T-SQL) on Microsoft SQL Server or similar RDBMS.
• 1–3 years of experience in data modeling and database design.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or similar cloud data warehousing technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including datasets, dataflows, and DAX.
• Experience with Python or PySpark to transform and manipulate data within pipelines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations or Customer Engagement) or similar ERP/CRM systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Power BI performance tuning and experience with other Microsoft BI stack components (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS).
• Experience with master data management, data cataloging, or data quality profiling tools.
