Description

You will design and deploy data architecture and analytical solutions within an Azure cloud environment, owning the full lifecycle from on-premises migration to cloud optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Design data architecture and strategies for efficient structured and unstructured data storage and retrieval.
  • Build custom applications and BI efforts using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, and Power Automate.
  • Integrate data management technologies, modeling approaches, and change data capture techniques.
  • Develop automation and API integrations using Java or Python.
  • Optimize queries and fine-tune database configurations to resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Software Developer.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services and relational database design principles.
  • High proficiency in T-SQL, ADF Pipelines, and SSIS packages.
  • Experience with Lift and Shift of existing on-premises processes.
  • Experience setting up Azure DevOps integration with cloud services and CI/CD processes.
  • Expertise in data warehousing, performance tuning, and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Qlik, OpenText, and SAP Datasphere.
  • Proficiency in Java or Python for automation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Logic Apps, and Microsoft Fabric.
