Data Engineer

You will play a key role in helping the data product engineering team achieve delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Convert functional requirements from product owners and business stakeholders into clear, well-groomed technical requirements.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies to maintain the backlog state and ensure timely, quality deliverables.
• Analyze complex data scenarios and translate them into well-articulated requirements.
• Collaborate with data governance, architecture, and business teams to validate data requirements and business rules.
• Develop test cases, plan strategy, and conduct rigorous testing to ensure data quantity.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of related experience with data analysis and requirement gathering.
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases and data models, writing SQL queries.
• Experience collaborating directly with stakeholders to elicit and challenge business requirements.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum preferred).
• Proficiency in Data Analysis and SQL.
• Familiarity with JSON structures and Rest API calls.
• Experience in the Financial Services or Asset Management industries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of modern data lake house architectures and technologies like Snowflake.
