Design and model execution platforms using AWS services and open-source components to support credit decisioning and analytics pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and model execution platforms using AWS services and open-source components.
• Deploy and migrate workflows across different environments.
• Modify and optimize existing decisioning processes and integrate platforms with other systems.
• Lead the development of complex functionality while coaching developers through development cycles.
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native architectures.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Scala, and SQL.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS, specifically EKS, Aurora, and MSK.
• Deep functional experience with DBT and Airflow.
• In-depth RDBMS development experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Aurora.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automated delivery pipelines.
• Knowledge of API and integration frameworks such as GraphQL, gRPC, or Kafka.
• Understanding of programming styles (OO, functional) and software design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development.
