Data Engineer

You will build and maintain data systems to support cross-functional teams and business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to support data requirements and processes.
• Analyze unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data to identify process improvements.
• Develop and manage data pipelines and stream-processing workflows.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or Scala.
• Experience with big data tools including Hadoop and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with stream-processing systems like Spark Streaming or Kafka Streams.
• Strong knowledge of relational SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically Postgres and Cassandra.
• Experience using workflow management tools such as Airflow, Azkaban, Luigi, or Oozie.
• Ability to work with unstructured datasets and perform deep-dive analysis.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
