Description

Design and maintain data solutions across MS SQL and Azure environments. You will own the full lifecycle from design documentation to production support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents for modules, components, and overall solutions.
• Develop and re-engineer solutions on MS SQL and Azure servers.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to a team of database developers.
• Optimize stored procedures and triggers using fine-tuned T-SQL to maximize performance.
• Collaborate with clients to resolve pre-production and production issues on-premise and in Azure.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or database development.
• Advanced T-SQL for creating and improving stored procedures and triggers.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL and Azure.
• Proven track record working in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of database standards, security, integrity, backup, and recovery.
• Ability to document and describe complex technical subjects clearly.
• Experience managing database issues according to defined SLAs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data migration projects.
