Description

You will own the data virtualization layer and pipeline automation for enterprise platforms. Your work ensures real-time data availability and consistency across systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Denodo virtual views, including base, derived, and interface-based abstractions.
• Refactor complex SQL and virtual views using window functions and CTEs for high-performance querying.
• Automate data transformation, API interactions, and validation utilities using Python.
• Optimize performance by managing Denodo caching strategies, Snowflake warehouse sizing, and connection pool tuning.
• Lead technical remediation efforts and document integration architecture to maintain data consistency.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 2–3 years of hands-on expertise with Denodo.
• Expert-level SQL skills in Snowflake and SAP HANA.
• Proficient Python scripting for data engineering tasks.
• Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Git branching strategies and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to document complex architectures and communicate technical strategies to stakeholders.
