Description

You will design and implement scalable data solutions on AWS, owning the full lifecycle of data pipelines and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Amazon S3, Glue, and EMR.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes for efficient data ingestion and transformation.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement data modeling and analytics solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security compliance with GDPR and HIPAA standards.
• Optimize data infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer focused on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Glue, and S3.
• Expertise in ETL processes, data modeling, and warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and transformation.
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in IT or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification (Solution Architect Associate or Data Engineer).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with data security best practices.
