Description

You will provide expert advisory services on database architecture and cloud adoption strategies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams on SQL Server and Oracle database design, deployment, and optimization.
• Advise on leveraging GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, and GCVE for enterprise workloads.
• Develop and review backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
• Guide stakeholders through workload migration roadmaps into GCP.
• Ensure adherence to cloud governance, security standards, and data management policies.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise with SQL Server and Oracle database environments.
• Hands-on or advisory experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, GCVE).
• Strong knowledge of observability tools, backup, and DR planning.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent advisory and communication skills for senior stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB.
