Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes using Apache Airflow and dbt.
• Develop and optimize data models within data warehousing environments.
• Process and manage large datasets using big data frameworks.
• Implement data governance, lineage, and cataloging practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Spark (PySpark/Scala).
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools like Informatica or Talend.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency in big data technologies including Hadoop.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with DevOps practices for data (CI/CD, Git, Terraform).
