Description

Build and maintain data pipelines on GCP to support data quality, integration, and analytics.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines to gather, integrate, and cleanse data from multiple sources.
• Develop rules and tracking processes to support data quality models and troubleshoot anomalies.
• Implement security best practices in data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Mentor junior data engineers and review their dataset implementations.
• Evaluate and propose new GCP solutions to improve data management and reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a related role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Java, or Python.
• Intermediate experience with scripting languages like Bash.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and related cloud technologies.
• Understanding of data management, maintenance, and security best practices.
• BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
• GCP certification.
• Experience in AI/ML engineering or data visualization tools.
