Description

You will design and build the strategy for the finance analytics engineering team within the Enterprise Data Engineering group.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve data gathering, modeling, and reporting capabilities.
• Develop and maintain self-service data platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Scientists, Product Owners, and Domain Experts to define data requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Data or BI engineer.
• Expert SQL abilities with hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python or an equivalent programming language.
• Experience with data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience with data modeling, data catalog concepts, and various data formats.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP services including S3/GCS, Lambda/Cloud Functions, EMR/Dataproc, Glue/Dataflow, and Athena.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related Software Engineering background.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Airflow and DBT.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, SiSense, or Looker.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, TDD, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
