Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and production infrastructure in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable application logic across all tiers.
• Develop data processing workflows using Spark, Kafka, and Dataflow.
• Manage relational database schema design and ORM technologies.
• Deploy and maintain production infrastructure using modern strategies.
• Apply Agile/Scrum practices to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, C++, PHP, Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, BigQuery, and Dataflow.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database schema design.
• Deep knowledge of algorithms, statistics, and design patterns.
• Experience with networking, operating systems, and web application internals.
• Working knowledge of gRPC, Akka-Http, and BigTable.
• Ability to manage application scalability and production deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks.
