You will build and maintain scalable data pipelines within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to move data into GCP target databases.
• Acquire, profile, and analyze complex datasets to identify trends or patterns.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and implement data quality rules.
• Collaborate with frontend/backend engineers, product managers, and analysts to implement business requirements.
• Improve data flows using Talend, Snowpipe, and scripting.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with GCP services including Dataproc, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow, CloudRun, Cloud Functions, and GKE.
• Proven experience building custom data pipelines into Bigtable, GCS, and BigQuery.
• Experience managing large data transfers into GCP with high throughput.
• Strong knowledge of VPC, Private/Public Subnets, Network Security Groups, and Firewalls.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Google Compute, DevOps, Storage, and Security components.
• Proficiency in SQL tuning to optimize performance and cost.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with on-premise to cloud workload migrations.
• Experience with Legacy Modernization projects.
